What is the STEPN project?

STEPN is known as the world's first Move2earn NFT mobile game. It is built around the daily commutes of most people. This is the first project that effectively brings the concept of “move and earn”. STEPN ranked 4th out of 500 featured projects at Solana Ignition Hackathon 2021.

Users equip themselves with NFTs in the form of sneakers. By walking, jogging or running outdoors, users earn in-game currency, which can be used in-game or cashed out for profit.

With GameFi, STEPN aims to drive millions towards healthier lifestyles, fight climate change and connect the public with Web 3.0 . At the same time, the project also mentions its SocialFi aspect to build a lasting platform that promotes user-generated Web 3.0 content. 

What are the highlights of the STEPN project?

STEPN is the winning project of the Solana Ignition Hackathon Gaming Track. It is also the only mobile game to win the Hackathon. Through its easy-to-use interface, built-in Marketplace and Wallet, STEPN's game design and its goal of reaching millions of non-cryptocurrency users, this app has won approval. of the Hackathon Jury. 

The STEPN app is extremely easy to use. Players who do not have experience in the blockchain field or do not have much experience in the game can still easily navigate within the application. Players need to walk, jog or run outdoors to earn GST tokens, which are burned to level up sneakers and mint new shoes. After players reach the top level, they can start earning GMT, which is a governance token. The game's treasury is managed by the DAO, with the distribution of the game's profits voted on by the governance token holders.

Products of STEPN

• Solo (move & earn) mode: Just by pressing the START button, users can start moving and earning token rewards with a small chance to receive a mystery box containing NFT gems. 

• NFT Sneakers and Gems: NFT Sneakers can be leveled up by burning tokens. Users can add attribute points and NFT gems to the sneaker to increase its performance. 

• Minting & shoebox: By putting two NFTs of sneakers together and burning some tokens, users can mint a shoebox. Or in rare cases, opening the shoebox will give the user a random NFT of sneakers. 

• NFT Marketplace: Users can trade their NFT shoes, shoeboxes, gems, and achievement badges in the marketplace. Users can also rent sneakers here for free.

• Decentralized Wallet & Swap: Users can buy crypto through the Binance portal, swap tokens to other cryptocurrencies, and deposit/deposit tokens/NFTs.

1st quarter of 2022

• Rental system
  • The credit system uses the test to train tenants to understand how STEPN works.

What is STEPN Token?

STEPN uses a dual token mechanism. In which game token: GST (Green Satoshi Token) and governance token: GMT (Green Metaverse Token).

GST has an unlimited supply and is minted when the user moves in solo or background mode. 

Every time GST is used, they are burned. GST functions:
