What is DROPP GG?

Phase I: Mint NFT based on geography

As mentioned, DROPP GG develops an NFT mint platform. The platform allows users to use the geographic region in which they live to create exclusive NFTs that exist side-by-side with real-world space. 

In the early stages, DROPP GG will focus on growing NFTs across geographies of great interest to create value for their NFT collection. Phase II: DROPP LAND

Technology of DROPP LAND

Dymaxion Projection : One of the most popular projections is Mercator, it is used in most digital maps, such as Google Maps. The problem with this projection is that it skews the actual magnitude, the farther the area is from the equator, the greater the distortion. To minimize this effect, the development team decided to use a Dymaxion projection to minimize distortion.

HEX : By leveraging hexagons, it provides a unique property where the center and adjacent cells will be more evenly spaced than using triangles or rectangles. This reduces distance bias.

H3 coordinate system : Thanks to the use of the H3 coordinate system and hierarchical structure, DROPP GG can mark locations on the map with a certain number, instead of the traditional latitude and longitude. This saves space on the blockchain and makes it easier to curate content in a certain area. This makes it easy for the user to locate the plot of land on the map and designate the corresponding area in the Metaverse.

Phase III: DROPP AR

DROPP AR allows users to create 3D models that are renderable both in the 3D space available on web apps and in real space as AR objects using mobile devices (iOS and Android).
