Mechanism of action

Tribe3 has adopted the vAMM model to provide users with a virtual liquidity option that matches the illiquidity of NFTs. This model is simply described with the formula x*y=k, similar to most other AMMs. There is no need for a liquidity provider, users simply collateralize assets to buy or sell a specific asset. Asset values ​​on vAMM are continuously updated after each transaction, just like other AMMs.

In order to minimize the difference between Oracle and vAMM prices, this model applies an incentive mechanism for either Longs or Shorts depending on the market situation. When the price of Oracle is higher than the price of vAMM, the Short will have to pay the fee to the Long and vice versa. However, when the collateral ratio falls below 10%, Liquidation Bots will be activated to liquidate the position. If the rate falls below 5%, the position will be completely liquidated and the proceeds will be divided into two halves, half to the Liquidation Bot and the other half to Tribe3's insurance fund. If the rate falls below 10% but above 5%, the order will be liquidated 12.5% ​​until the collateral rate rises above 10%.
