Heroes TD . Overview

What is Heroes TD?

Heroes TD is a Play-to-earn game of the genre of tower defense game that requires tactical thinking, developed by CG Studio on blockchain technology . Players will use 5 Hero (customizable) squads to participate in matches with other players with the goal of earning CGC tokens and HTD tokens. Players can then use these tokens to upgrade Heroes, summon new Heroes, or to trade. 

Basic features of Heroes TD

How to play 

In each match, there will be many rounds. In each round, the player will control the Hero to attack the opponent's base. For each winning round, the opponent loses 1 point and the player who loses 3 points first loses. 

The player's job is to use energy to summon Heroes to create a defensive stance against enemy attacks. At the beginning of the match, each player will have 100 energy and gain more each time they kill the opponent's Hero. In addition, gamers can also combine 2 similar Heroes to create 1 stronger Hero.

Play-to-earn

Gamers can earn CGC tokens and HDT tokens through playing games. Players can then choose to withdraw those tokens to their wallets to trade on exchanges or exchange with friends.

Staking and Farming

The game will have Staking and Farming functions launched on Dapp. In addition, HTD token holders can participate in voting for in-game design and feature changes.

Charts

Players with high ratings will receive extra special rewards.

Hero System

Heroes are the main asset in the game, and also represent the fighting power of each player. Each Hero has a separate set of stats that determine the Hero's ability. The new Hero's stats will change depending on the Hero pairing to create that Hero. 

The main attributes of a Hero include: Character, system, origin, rarity, equipment, rune table and attack power type.

• Characters: Currently there are more than 60 characters in Heroes TD, each character will own a different set of stats.
• System: Heroes TD has 10 different systems including: Duelist, Assassin, Slayer, Hunter, Enlightened, Wizard, Warlock, Warlord, Fortune and Elderwood. Each system will have a different characteristic and those properties will be activated when the Hero joins the battle.
• Origin: Heroes will be divided into different races including: Dazzler, Vanguard, Guardian, Mystic, Divine, Ninja, Fabled, Dragonsoul, Reviver and Brawler. Each race brings its own strength and determines the Hero's play style in the match.
• Rarity: The rarity of Heroes in Heroes TD is also different. The rarer the Hero, the greater the value and power of that Hero.
• Equipment system and rune table: Each Hero can use 3 equipment and 3 gems when fighting. These equipment and gems have different uses and can all be changed and upgraded.

Game modes of the game 

Heroes TD has 4 game modes. Each mode has different rules that the player must choose the right playstyle to win.

PvP Battle Mode 

This is the game's first mode in which players can join the game with non-NFT Heroes. When participating in a match, gamers will be matched with other players based on their PvP rating. 

In this mode, players can earn CGC tokens after each match. The number of tokens depends on their PvP rating. For low level matches, they can only receive a very small amount of CGC tokens. The higher a player has a PvP rating, the more chance they have to get CGC tokens.

Team mode

In this mode, gamers will be randomly paired with another player. Each player will bring their Hero squad into the match and work together to defend the base from enemy attacks. Depending on the number of successful defenses, players will be rewarded with a corresponding amount of CGC tokens.

Challenge mode

With this mode, players can challenge other players in 2 ways: challenge directly or challenge using a squad. To participate in this mode, both players will have to pay the participation fee in CGC tokens. The winner will receive all those CGC tokens (after deducting a small fee).

Tournaments

4 or 8 players will have to pay to join this mode. Players will be paired in pairs. The winning pair will receive the prize of the tournament.

Daily quests

Participating gamers complete daily tasks to receive rewards of CGC tokens.

Hero Summon

In Heroes TD, players can use 2 Hero NFTs to summon new NFT Heroes. Players may lose an amount of CGC tokens and HTD tokens to perform this process. Each NFT Hero can only be summoned 7 times.

After each time, the cost of using that Hero to summon a new Hero will increase. On the other hand, the chance of summoning a stronger Hero increases. The higher the number of summons a Hero has, the greater the Hero's value.

Warlord and Commander System 

This system allows gamers to send some of their Heroes for other players to use. In return, for each match that the player's Hero participates in, they will receive a CGC token and an HDT token. This system will help players optimize their revenue when they own too many Heroes and cannot use them all.

How to make money in Heroes TD

• Players can earn HTD tokens in the game by winning in PvP mode or trading in the market.
• Gamers earn in-game CGC tokens by participating in PvP, team play, challenge and tournament modes, and completing daily quests…

The development roadmap of Heroes TD

The development plan of the Heroes TD project is divided into 5 main phases:

• Q4 2021: On December 21, 2021, the team will launch the original Heroes, launch the game's trading platform, add the Hero summoning feature, and run the Alpha beta. In addition, CGC tokens (in-game tokens) are also released in the game as well as on the Pancakeswap exchange. The player can then farm this token.
• Q1 2022: The project will launch Beta and Play-to-earn game modes such as PvP mode and team mode.
• Q2 2022: At this stage, the team put the Warlord and Commander systems into operation. At the same time, they will update the new version of the game, including challenge and tournament modes.
• Q3 2022: Players begin to receive staking rewards. In addition, the project will introduce races and associations, followed by the organization of a major international tournament.
