What is ZetaChain?
ZetaChain is a public blockchain platform using omnichain technology – a complete crosschain solution that helps us complete all the steps in just one process. The project is a Layer 1 blockchain using the Proof of Stake consensus mechanism , which has interoperability between many other blockchains.
It solves the problems of “cross-chain”, “multi-chain”, aiming to open up a cryptocurrency ecosystem that anyone can access and use. ZetaChain supports a multi-chain cryptocurrency ecosystem and is very flexible. With ZetaChain, users and developers can move between any blockchain and use DeFi projects in any sector.
Special Features of ZetaChain
The project is built on Cosmos SDK and Tendermint Consensus, using PoS consensus mechanism, making all transactions or activities in the platform transparent and verifiable, minimizing risks such as exploits, hack.
Hyper-connected nodes are nodes that allow the transfer of assets and data for Dapp developers back and forth between many different chains.
The transmission of messages and data for developers will be more convenient thanks to Omnichain technology. At the same time, this technology also helps users improve capital efficiency and liquidity in DeFi.
Dapps built on the ZetaChain blockchain can allow users to manage assets on any chain.

Different from other cross-chain platforms, ZetaChain provides a web3 interactive portal through various blockchain platforms, with more than 100 blockchains.

What is the ZETA token?
ZETA is the native asset, used to pay gas fees for ZetaChain smart contracts and also used to secure the PoS blockchain by bonding/staking/slashing. ZETA is also at the core of ZetaChain's cross-chain transfers, swaps, messaging, and security. ZETA is one of the first multi-chain coins to be released natively on multiple chains and layers.
