About Mare Finance project
Mare Finance is a decentralized lending and borrowing platform built on the Kava ecosystem. Kava supports a variety of assets such as USDC, USDT, DAI and wKAVA and in the future, Mare Finance is expected to support more asset classes. The platform is equivalent to popular Lending Protocol platforms in the market, such as Compound, AAVE, Solend, and Apricot Finance.
Operation mechanism of Mare Finance
This is how Mare Finance works relatively simply.
Step 1: Users can deposit collateral or idle assets to the platform to receive interest from borrowers.
Step 2: With stablecoins like USDC, USDT, DAI, users can borrow out a desired part of the asset with a collateral rate of up to 80%, and with wKAVA, a collateral rate of about 35%.
Step 3: The borrower returns the borrowed property with interest.
Step 4: After receiving the interest and collateral, the protocol unlocks the collateral and returns it to the original user.
